HBA Greater Rochester Jingle and Mingle Networking

The second annual “Mingle and Jingle” event was held at Char Steak & Lounge in Rochester on the evening of 5 December 2023. This year, HBA Greater Rochester’s holiday networking event was sponsored by QuidelOrtho. QuidelOrtho is one of the world’s largest pure play diagnostics providers as well as a Gold HBA Corporate Partner. QuidelOrtho’s sponsorship added a special touch to the event, showcasing the company’s long history in Rochester and efforts in the pursuit of gender parity and health equity. 

As you can see in the photos, our HBA volunteers outdid themselves once again by creating an environment that was welcoming and filled with holiday cheer! The ambience was merry and bright thanks to the hand-crafted cocktails, delectable appetizers, and specialty desserts (including sugar cookies printed with the QuidelOrtho Women’s Leadership Network logo). A highlight of the evening was networking BINGO where participants eagerly made new acquaintances, learning fun facts about fellow attendees to check off boxes on their BINGO cards and win prizes. 

The room was abuzz all evening as 23 attendees mingled, making new relationships and building on ones already established with fellow professionals in the healthcare industry. Attendees reflected on their experiences in 2023 and discussed new opportunities and challenges facing them in the year ahead. The “Mingle and Jingle” event facilitates valuable interactions that extend beyond formal work settings and was requested by many to return next year!
