Meet the HBA Charlotte Board 

Allison Grannis 

Allison is a member of Pfizer’s Global Policy and Public Affairs team. She has more than 15 years of experience in engaging healthcare providers, advocates, and other key stakeholders. In her current role as Senior Manager of State Policy and Alliance Development, Allison is responsible for ensuring that state-based policy strategies align with business and enterprise-wide objectives and provides support for triaging, analyzing, and coordinating state policy and regulatory issues. She is also responsible for developing advocacy strategies that support state legislative and public affairs priorities in North Carolina. 

Allison has been a member of the HBA since 2013 and has served as Chapter Operations Director for HBA Charlotte as well as served on the HBA Cincinnati programming committee from 2017 to 2018. She currently serves as the President of the HBA Charlotte. Allison received her Master of Business Administration with a focus in healthcare management from Indiana Wesleyan University and is an alumna of the University of Kentucky. Allison and her husband, Dustin, relocated from Ohio in 2018 and reside in Charlotte, NC.  

 

Mandy Dunnuck

image0.jpegMandy is currently Director of Human Resources for Heath Systems Sales at Philips Healthcare. In her role, Mandy is responsible for partnering with sales leadership to set the strategic roadmap for the organizational structure, elevate capabilities, and drive employee engagement. Aligned with the HBAs mission and vision, Mandy is also responsible for driving diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organization. Prior to her experience in HR, Mandy has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years in various capacities within cross-functional commercial roles to include sales, sales leadership and product and leadership training.

Mandy currently serves as Vice President for the Charlotte chapter and takes great pleasure in working alongside her fellow board members. Prior to this role she served for 2 years as the Director-at-Large, Membership and Volunteer Engagement as she is extremely passionate in supporting the development of others to achieve their career aspirations.


Nisha Pasupuleti

Nisha is a System Director at CommonSpirit Health, where she develops transformative population health strategies for vulnerable populations. Prior to her current role, Nisha was a Manager in population heath for Atrium Health, where she focused on value-based strategic initiatives. Nisha’s primary responsibilities included creating high-level recommendations and strategic plans that drive systemic goals, regional partnerships, and community-facing programs. Nisha was the strategic lead for Carolinas Medical-Legal Partnership, a collaborative model that integrates legal services into Atrium’s workflow to address social determinants of health. Additionally, Nisha completed a two-year administrative fellowship at Atrium Health. In her first fellowship year, she served as the Corporate Quality & Clinical Integration Administrative Fellow, where she focused on behavioral health and quality improvement. In her second fellowship year, Nisha was the inaugural Michael C. Tarwater administrative fellowship, she rotated in strategy and at Carolinas Physician Alliance, a clinically integrated network.

Nisha holds several degrees including a Bachelor of Science in brain, behavior, and cognitive science from the University of Michigan; a Juris Doctor from The Pennsylvania State University; and a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

 

Wendy Fu

Wendy is an Associate Director of Strategy at DiD Agency, part of the Lucid Group, a global healthcare communications consultancy in the UK. Her role involves working with Fortune 100 pharmaceutical brands by leveraging actional insights to formulate near and long-term strategies to unlock growth, elevate customer experience and enable competitive advantage with healthcare providers, hospitals/IDNs, and salesforces.

With more than 20 years of experience, her prior roles involve senior-level marketing strategies at Atrium Health, where she led efforts for over 8 clinical areas including musculoskeletal, neurosciences, oncology, and surgery with executive clinical and administrative leadership to align on meeting systemic goals and enterprise growth strategies. She’s also held nationally-ranked pharmaceutical sales and leadership roles with TAP Pharmaceuticals.

In addition to serving as HBA’s Director at Large for the Marketing and Communications Committee, she’s also a board member and Marketing Chair for the 24 Foundation. Wendy is a graduate of the University of Southern California and lives in Charlotte, NC.  

 

Megan Guhl

Megan is the Executive Director, Head of Patient Access and Services at Insmed Incorporated. With over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, she’s held a multitude of leadership positions in Sales, Account Management, and Patient Services and co-led Women in Leadership, the largest ERG at Novartis. She’s launched over 15 pharmaceutical brands with extensive experience in various clinical areas including dermatology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, and rheumatology while navigating complex matrix organizations to deliver award-winning results. Additionally, she’s known for building strong collaborative relationships and inspirational leadership that keep key talent engaged. 

Megan is delighted to be a part of the powerful network with the HBA and currently serves as the Director at Large for Membership and Engagement. Megan is a graduate of Penn State and lives in Charlotte, NC. 

 

Rubie Adkins

Rubie is currently a Senior Area Sales Manager with Lundbeck Pharmaceuticals where she manages a team covering a seven-state region on the East coast. She has been in the pharma industry for more than 20 years and has held positions including sales rep, regional business analyst, primary care district manager, and CNS senior area sales manager. She has extensive experience in multiple clinical areas including infectious disease, psychiatry, neurology, cardiology, rheumatology, among others. Her accomplishments include President Circle, the Leadership Cup Team award, and other notable recognitions. She is currently a mentor, boss, mother, wife, and all-around team player.  

When not juggling her many roles, she is a member of the Jack and Jill of America associate group and the HBA Charlotte's Director at Large for Education and Events. Rubie holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA.
