HBA Houston Proudly Recognizes Jordan Wilson as an Honored Volunteer

Jordan Wilson

The HBA Houston Honored Volunteer award was recently presented to Jordan Wilson. Jordan was nominated for her commitment and many contributions as a volunteer for HBA Houston. Most recently, Jordan was instrumental in coordinating HBA Houston’s first live event in over two years. By leading our signature Leadership Roundtable event, HBA Houston members were able to connect and gain valuable insights from their interactions with healthcare and industry leaders. As the new Director at Large of Programming, Jordan holds a critical board role that has been key to the success and growth of HBA Houston.

Jordan is passionate about women’s health and healthcare disparity. She is a Clinical Account Manager (CAM) in the breast and skeletal health division of Hologic. As a CAM, Jordan is responsible for managing and collaborating with all breast care facilities in the Houston area, supporting products in breast cancer care from diagnosis to treatment. Of her career choice, Jordan states, “I am contributing to the early detection and treatment of breast cancer which genuinely helps women and families."  Additionally, Jordan is a National Field Sales Trainer, embracing the opportunity to help new hires uncover the tools they need to be successful. She believes, that through consistency and hard work, anyone can achieve any goal they set their mind to.

With both a passion for women’s health and the advancement of women in the healthcare industry, Jordan has been excited to get involved with the HBA as both an HBA Ambassador at Hologic, as well as serving on the HBA Houston board. She states, “The HBA gives me the opportunity to work with people within different organizational functions on a common goal. It also pushes me outside of my comfort zone and challenges me to take on projects in which I wouldn’t necessarily have the opportunity to participate within my current role”.

In her spare time, Jordan is an avid traveler, who enjoys hiking and experiencing new restaurants.

Thank you, Jordan for your dedication to inspiring and furthering the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare. HBA Houston would not be possible without the contributions of volunteers like Jordan. She is an extraordinary and driven volunteer that continues to play a significant role in building the HBA presence in Houston. We are lucky to have you as part of our HBA Houston team.
