What is your current job title?

Senior Director, Diversity & Inclusion, Site and Patient Engagement, Labcorp Drug Development

Why did you join the HBA?

A mentor of mine suggested that I join the HBA to expand my network! I joined the board of the HBA Mainline Montco chapter as the Marketing Director-at-Large to gain skills in an area that I was not exposed to with my day job.   

What are your interests outside of work and the HBA?

I love traveling to different countries, experiencing the cultures, food and wine of different regions. I love cooking and baking and trying out different cuisines. I love music and listening to live music.

What or who inspires you?

Indra Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo, inspires me with her leadership and pragmatic lessons to working mothers trying to balance their careers and personal life.

What is a fun fact about you?

During the pandemic and the lockdown, I got interested in making different types of cocktails and have had a lot of fun making different types of cocktails. A few favorites include a gin and tonic, Aperol spritz, lemon basil martini, and pomegranate martini.

What are you passionate about in your service with the HBA? In your career?

Volunteering with the HBA has enabled me to give back and support other women in their career journeys, which has been very rewarding and fulfilling. I am leading the Diversity & Inclusion in Clinical Trials initiative at Labcorp Drug Development, an area that I am very passionate about as there is a lot of work that needs to be done across the industry to increase diversity in trials so that safe and efficacious medicines can be brought to market.
