Leadership in Healthcare: Focusing on the Oncology Patient
Women in Science (WIS) affinity group to gather at HBA Annual Conference
Women in Science (WIS) is an affinity group of the HBA and provides women in scientific roles with professional support. It’s a vibrant, highly-charged group of industry professionals committed to helping women — at every stage of their careers — simultaneously achieve their greatest potential and contribute to the advancement of science. WIS includes women from the pharmaceutical sector, biomedical engineering and medical device companies, as well as members from private research institutes, universities and government.
For the fifth year in a row, the WIS affinity group will be hosting an event at the HBA Annual Conference. WIS will be gathering Tuesday, 7 November, at 4:30 PM to network and meet other scientific women in healthcare from HBA chapters across the globe. The keynote speaker will be Linda Scarazzini, RPh, MD. She will be speaking towards the role of the patient advocacy space in the pharmaceutical sector and in addition leading a patient panel discussion.
All conference participants are welcome—join us and expand your network. Bring your business cards! Follow the conversation on twitter with us #HBAannual17 and #HBAImpact
