HBA Atlanta is pleased to announce that Brittany Evans has been appointed as vice president to the HBA Atlanta executive board. The board provides leadership to advancing the HBA’s purpose to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare.
Brittany brings deep experience to the position. Her career in public health and leadership in the healthcare community make her the perfect fit for the role. An active member of the HBA since 2014, she served as director of operations, sub-committee lead of New Member Orientation and Radical Hospitality and is a former participant in the HBA Atlanta Mentoring Program.
She is the assistant director at Emory University Urban Health Initiative and an engagement manager for Georgia Memory Net. She is the CEO and founder of a non-profit, WellStart Initiatives. She also serves as the president of Clayton State University Young Alumni Council and vice president of DeKalb’s Men’s Health Task Force.
Brittany received a BS from the University of South Carolina in public health and a Master's of Health Administration from Clayton State University. Brittany is currently enrolled at Georgia Southern University pursuing a Doctorate in public health.
She’s also a certified health coach and a person who also enjoys hiking and reading. Her life’s motto is “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” - Mahatma Gandi
