Our new HBA Orange County board includes the following:

Director at large, marketing and communications, Andrea Sampson (Sullivan & Sampson PR)
We are also fortunate to work with a talented corporate relations team in Orange County, an advisory board and committee members in the areas of programs, membership and marketing. We are busy recruiting top-notch advisors and volunteers for the various committees, so if you’re looking to engage and contribute to HBA Orange County, don’t hesitate to contact us based on your area of interest.
Whether you’ve been part of the HBA or are new to us, we look forward to bringing value to Orange County and know you will greatly benefit from our association. Orange County is home to thousands of life sciences professionals and hundreds of healthcare-focused organizations including biopharma, medical device, diagnostics, research, hospitals, universities and consulting agencies.
We are working with our members, partners and supporters to strategically plan programs for the year that are valuable and relevant to women in healthcare and that support gender parity. The HBA accomplishes its mission through strong business networks, education, research, advocacy and recognition for individuals and companies. Therefore, HBA Orange County programs will include a mix of educational and networking events.
For example, we recently offered a program on “How Men Can Join the Inclusion Conversation”. We will offer other educational programs, plus morning coffee chats, lunch and learn programs and supper clubs focused on a range of topics. In addition, we are looking to live stream the annual Woman of the Year celebration in New York so those of us on the West Coast can take part. The HBA also runs a mentoring program that runs throughout the year.
We encourage women and men at any level of their careers to participate and engage with HBA Orange County. With our partners and expanding membership, the potential for HBA Orange County is immense and together we can further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare.
We look forward to welcoming you at our next event.
Dr. Shawn Andrews
