HBA Houston Learns Strategies to Manage “Burnout”

On Thursday, 10 October HBA Houston had the pleasure of hosting Leighann Forbes, Ph.D. senior director, U.S. Real World Value & Evidence Field Team, Janssen Scientific Affairs, LLC, a Johnson & Johnson Company for a program as she presented Burnout Happens – Strategies to See It Coming and Rebounding Sooner. HBA Houston members had the opportunity to gather at JLABS @TMC to participate in an engaging, open and personal discussion on the serious impact that burnout can have on one’s physical and emotional state. Leighann provided signs/symptoms to recognize burnout and discussed potential strategies to re-balance life and best manage energy, time, effectiveness and impact.

This event was led by Holly Boudreaux, director of strategic accounts at Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. and Noranne Basham, executive area business specialist at Janssen Biotech Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company. At the event, the HBA Honored Volunteer award was presented to both Holly and Noranne for their many contributions to HBA Houston. HBA Houston also recognized the following volunteers for making this event a huge success: Shoa Alassali-Kullab, Andrea Brooks, Amber Doss, Venice Richardson, Terry Rivera and LaMiracle Christopher.

A special thank you to Victoria Tilden, innovation activation specialist at JLABS @ TMC for her many contributions to make this event a huge success.

Thank you once again to Leighann Forbes for making this event possible. We hope to see everyone at our next HBA Houston event on Tuesday, 19 November.
