HBA Cincinnati 2019 Mentor Circle is off to a great start with four mentees: Kathleen Rankin, Advarra; Selina Eviston, Pfizer; Rhonda Schechter, Frost Brown Todd LLC and Cristina Romeo, Incyte. Each woman brings a rich and varied background to the circle and there is great dialogue, open sharing and a lot of laughter. In the three meetings thus far the group has gotten to know one another better and covered a lot topics ranging from executive presence, professional speaking, advancement, working and motherhood, to name just a few.
The mentees are professionals in different roles within the healthcare universe: pharmaceuticals, attorney to corporate clients, Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), consultant and talent acquisition and benefit plan administration. The group also decided to add the book Talk Like Ted by Carmine Gallo to “read at our own pace” for some mentee group discussion. Mentors Deb Schnell at mix-talent and Charlotte Carpenter at Archdiocese of Cincinnati are thrilled to be part of the mentor circle and delighted to be meeting with such bright talent. Charlotte shares that “it is a blessing to be helping in some way as each woman grows personally and professionally”.
