Kenji Kuykendall named July 2019 Volunteer of the Month

The HBA Chicago Northern Chicago is pleased to announce that our July Volunteer of the Month is Kenji Kuykendall. When asked to share her experience as an HBA North Chicago volunteer, she said:

“I was surprised and humbled to learn that I was selected as Volunteer of the Month, it’s been an incredible journey since joining the HBA as a member almost three years ago. I was very impressed with the selection of personal development offerings and career growth prospects available for volunteers. As I became more familiar with the HBA, I was exposed to an abundant of different ways to develop or hone various skillsets, which is one of the primary reasons that I decided to join the HBA Chicago – Northern Suburbs marketing committee at the beginning of the year. It afforded me an opportunity to meet a diverse and talented group of individuals with vast experiences across many disciplines and a breadth of knowledge in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. The marketing committee has shaped a safe environment for volunteers to share their strengths and contribute in a meaningful way. Personally, I have an interest and passion to help others reach their highest potential through self-empowerment and self-care. As a volunteer, I’m making a difference in the lives of others through giving input and sharing ideas on educational programs that will be rolled out to the HBA members and non-members; as well as executing on the marketing tactics to ensure a successful event. I’m delighted to receive this recognition and very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing organization.”
