HBA Midwest Region Mentoring Program Registration Now Open

“A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.”
-Oprah Winfrey

The Midwest Region is pleased to announce that registration is now open the 2019 mentoring program. Our kick-off will be in May.

In this innovative program, participants are placed into mentoring circles based on their strengths and development needs. Circles usually include two mentors and three to four mentees. The program is designed to be flexible, with each circle defining how to best work together to achieve their goals.

All HBA members are welcome to apply for the program, either as mentors or mentees. View more information about the mentor and mentee roles.

Our 2018 participants have reported numerous benefits from the program:

  • “The HBA Midwest Region mentoring program came at the right time, providing much needed resources for the changes I will be experiencing in my career.” – Laura Carroll
  • “I have great mentors who provide valuable resources and advice for learning and development. I also love having a male and female mentor who bring different experiences, feedback and perspectives to the table.”  –  Dana Vielmetti
  • “Through the advice and counsel of my HBA mentoring circle, I was able to connect with other amazing HBA members who provided valuable support, guidance and introductions that helped successfully launch my blog, ‘Fortune Favors the Bold’. The blog will highlight times an executive leader took chances and its purpose is to learn from these leaders’ experiences and share their insights with emerging leaders and peers. I look forward to continued interviews with these executives and sharing the posts through HBA marketing avenues.” – Christina Warner

Registration runs from now through 25 February.

More information about the program timeline and dates is included in the registration form. We hope you consider making the 2019 HBA Midwest Region Mentoring program part of your development plan.
