It’s exciting to see HBA members recognized and rewarded for their creativity, innovation and leadership in the healthcare industry. That’s why it gives me pleasure to congratulate these outstanding women in our chapter for their 2018 Top Women in Healthcare Marketing honors, awarded by Digital Megaphone, one of the largest and most well respected social media events businesses in Chicago.
Lisa Chengary – Lisa, a two time recipient of this honor, has over 20 years’ experience in healthcare marketing and is the multi-channel marketing manager at Takeda. In her current role, Lisa works on a variety of channels including in-app advertising and point of care marketing and will be a featured speaker on the Mobile Marketing Panel about in-app advertising at the Digital Megaphone Healthcare Marketing Summit on 1 November. Lisa also brings her passion and leadership to HBA, serving on the Northern Chicago Board of Directors as director-at-large for marketing.
Debra (Deb) Kurtz – Deb is a seasoned executive and consultant who, after an accomplished 17 year career, had the courage to go out on her own and establish Kurtz Consulting Inc. in 2004. As president and principal for Kurtz Consulting, Deb is known as a key industry resource who provides marketing strategies and solutions for her customers. Deb also brings her passion and leadership to HBA as a volunteer for the Northern Chicago membership and volunteer engagement committee, where she leads most of the live and virtual new member orientation events.
Meg McKenna – Meg is the vice president of sales and marketing, Advanced Surgery for Baxter Healthcare and has over 20 years’ experience in healthcare sales and marketing. In her current role, Meg leads the sales and marketing teams and is responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy. Meg also received the 2016 HBA Luminary Award for outstanding mentorship, transformational leadership and dedication to the healthcare industry.
Tracy Yedlin – Tracy, a two time recipient of this honor, is the senior manager for multi-channel marketing ~ neuroscience at Takeda and has over 20 years’ experience in marketing and digital innovation. Tracy is regarded as a thought leader in digital marketing and has lead strategic initiatives for Fortune 500 companies including digital strategy, visioning, optimization planning and multi-channel integration. Tracy was also the key note speaker on Digital Disruption at the Digital Megaphone Healthcare Marketing Summit on 1 November.
