Cincinnati Chapter Holds Annual Signature Event

Healthcare leaders from organizations that included non-profits, health systems, physicians, talent coaches, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and clinical research firms gathered to Navigate Unconscious Bias and Build Authentic Leadership at our Annual Cincinnati Signature Event.

Brooke Cartus from ImprovEdge used engaging and fun improv exercises to demonstrate the power of these principles:

  • Bring positivity and creativity to the workplace
  • Take something small and build to something exceptional
  • Leverage the combined power of the people in your organization
  • Understand that mistakes often yield the greatest discoveries.

Kelsey Pytlik, from Gild Collective took attendees through types of bias that exist and real life scenarios so we could practice how to approach situations with authenticity and leadership that brings everyone to the table.
An attendee shared, “Congratulations on a fantastic signature event. Very well done. I am so grateful to have attended.”

All in all - an awesome HBA event filled with actionable insights and tools that equipped us to be more authentic leaders and help others succeed.  A special thanks to our board, committee leaders, speakers and sponsors that made this impactful event possible.

Our sponsors included Ethicon, TriHealth, Airrosti, Advarra, Breakthrough Performance Group, Women of Cincy, Xavier University Executive MBA Program, Ms. Medicine, Sherpa Coaching and Cancer Support Community.
