HBA Indianapolis Event Recap: HB8 – Personal Development Through the Benefits of an HBA Membership

On 23 August, a group of six Indianapolis HBA members gathered for an intimate dinner conversation led by Terri Pascarelli. Terri is the CEO of AIT Bioscience and the founder of the Indianapolis HBA Chapter and HBA’s 2018 STAR (Strategic Transformation Achievement Recognition) honoree. The background of the attendees could not have been more diverse: from current board members with several years HBA tenure to members completely new to HBA and/or the Indianapolis area, from young professionals to seasoned leaders, from members in corporate roles to entrepreneurs to members in transition – highlighting the diversity of HBA Indianapolis.

To kick off the event, Terri shared her career path, HBA journey and gave valuable insights into how being courageous and taking on stretch roles through volunteering has helped her shape and advance her leadership skills. The group then shared their experience and future plans volunteering with HBA while highlighting the HBA resources available both on a local as well as on a national or even global level.

Thank you to Terri Pascarelli for hosting this enjoyable and insightful evening.
