HBA New England Region Volunteer Openings 

HBA offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities to allow you to apply and hone your skills while working with an exceptional community of professional women. Specific opportunities continually change and can include writing, event planning, mentoring, data analysis, public speaking, committee management, corporate sponsor relationship development and much more. Regional and chapter committees have ongoing volunteer needs large and small, so we can help you find an experience with the right level of commitment for you. 

Regional Committee Roles

Programming Center of Excellence:

HBA New England affinity group iLead - Technology. Empowerment. Impact.

“Preparing, enlightening, inspiring and empowering women leaders that are working with data and technology to have an impact”

  • Event onsite support
  • Marketing material development for iLead event and rebranding

HBA New England regional co-director: affinity group – commercial 

  • Regional leadership role managing programs for commercial (sales/sales ops) professionals

HBA New England regional Programming Center of Excellence business operations director

  • Regional leadership role managing Programming Center of Excellence operations

Executive programming:

  • “Executive Exchange” event planning co-lead - execute high profile events
  • “Executive Exchange” event operations lead - manage team activities and goals

Mentoring

  • Event planning – key mentoring events – logistics management for live and virtual events
  • Operations and communications lead – manage sub-committees, outward/internal communications
  • Analytics/Surveys – manage application and survey process, report data and feedback
  • Marketing - promotional material, training and slide deck development
  • Recruitment – Lunch n Learn implementation (Marlborough and Fairfield County, CT)
  • Connectors – mentoring circle “go to” for questions, information, resources, feedback and improvements 

Corporate relations

  • Corporate relations business development team - train and recruit new volunteers

Marketing 

  • Event set-up, forms and flyers – edit, review and finalize event set up forms, create flyers
  • Event attendance lead – onsite event marketing lead, promote event activities and outcomes
  • Events/Program materials volunteers – develop/edit/manage output of event marketing materials - presentations, brochures 


Chapter Support - Boston, Waltham, Marlborough and Fairfield County, CT

Corporate relations: 

  • Account managers – “Face of HBA” - cultivate and build sponsor/partner relationships

Membership and volunteer engagement  

  • New member orientation – “meet and greet” events to welcome new members
  • Lunch and Learns – implement educational programs for HBA partners within chapter communities

Marketing 

  • Marketing communications: program promotional support – flyers and marketing materials
