HBA NY Proudly Recognizes Alanna Meisner as an Honored Volunteer

Alanna Meisner, an event manager at Medidata Solutions, has nearly 13 years of marketing and event management experience. She currently supports the entire lifecycle of internal and external events, from venue sourcing to execution to post-event follow-up. Alanna oversees the planning of third-party conferences and tradeshows, product launches, internal parties and town halls, webinars and client dinners. Prior to joining Medidata, she managed and supported events for large financial services institutions. Alanna holds a BS in communications and rhetorical studies from Syracuse University and an MA in psychology from Boston University.

Alanna has volunteered her time to give back to the following organizations: American Heart Association, City Harvest, NY Cares, the Ronald McDonald House and Virtual Enterprises International. Most recently, she made her mark volunteering for Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA). HBA NY piloted an event where attendees could participate both in person and virtually. Alanna seamlessly managed all parties without missing a beat. Her energy, passion and excitement has been infectious, and helped make the pilot event a huge success.
