Change. Oh good. I can't wait. How often do you think this when you hear, "we will be having some organizational (or family, or club or whatever) changes."
Are you excited? Scared?
It's natural to be both; the key is to be resilient and to thrive through these changes, not just survive. Please join HBA West Chester at J&J DePuy Synthes campus in West Chester on 27 September at 5:30 PM where Charlotte Sibley, 2018 HBA Woman of the Year, will share her journey and techniques for thriving and surviving during the changing times in your career.
Charlotte has been through a lot of change; she's been hired, fired, promoted and demoted, and she will share her thoughts and experience on thriving through the change that is a constant today.
Key to this journey are taking accountability for your own career, building resilience and keeping a sense of balance. One of the ways to thrive is Networking. Only about 20 percent of people (and I am not one of them) are naturally good at this - but we can all learn to be effective and have fun learning this key skill.
Charlotte Sibley is known for her strategic vision, building and leading teams and for developing and coaching at all levels of the organization. Charlotte has most recently served as senior vice president at Shire plc. and currently serving on board of directors at Taconic Biosciences, Inc, Fort Hill Co., American Pacific Corporation. Charlotte was named the Woman of the Year by the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association in 2008 and was one of PharmaVOICE's Most Inspiring People in Pharma in 2009.
