A message from HBA Houston general manager Emily Hobaugh

Dear HBA Houston,
On Thursday, 26 April, HBA Houston hosted an invaluable program entitled “Bring Relationships Back to Work” at JLABS @ TMC in Houston, TX. Robyn Fatooh, director of leadership excellence for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc, a Johnson & Johnson Company, delivered a poignant discussion on understanding why developing connected relationships through vulnerability can unlock the potential of individuals and teams. In cultivating more connected relationships, we open the door to profoundly improving our own professional impact and sense of fulfillment.
Thank you, Robyn, for elevating this topic in a time when we can all benefit from encouraging vulnerability and authenticity in our interactions. Your discussion was incredibly inspiring and refreshing.

This event was led by Ashley Scott, senior executive immunology specialist at Janssen, who was recognized as an HBA honored volunteer that evening. HBA Houston would also like to recognize the following volunteers for making this event a huge success: Katelyn Balch, Noranne Basham, Holly Boudreaux, Mike Cumbow, Lisa Clissold, Amy Cormier, Yvonne Drew-Alvarez, Katie Fraser, Shauntell Kelley.
Thank you once again to Robyn Fatooh and Tom Luby, head of JLABS @ TMC for making this event possible. We hope to see everyone at our next event as HBA Houston celebrates one dynamic year, and counting on Wednesday, 27 June.
Emily W. Hobaugh
