We kicked off February with a successful ConnectCafé, a networking breakfast connecting healthcare business professionals across the industry. Glenda Womack, director client operations, AmerisourceBergen, shared how the HBA facilitated her career success. The event also recognized our outstanding 2017 HBA DFW volunteers and board of directors. Susan Bergen, thought leader liaison, AbbVie, received the LEAD award. The Leadership, Excellence and Dedication (LEAD) award is the highest honor an HBA volunteer can be given. Thanks to all who helped make this event a success.

- 27 March: The HBA DFW chapter will be hosting our second executive round table learning from leaders event featuring Bill Vollmer from AbbVie. Registration will be opening soon.
- 3 May: 2018 HBA Woman of the Year event, New York Hilton Midtown- Register today for this interactive luncheon for a networking opportunity with nearly 2,500 top healthcare and life science industry leaders. Early bird rates end on 30 March.
- 5-6 November: 2018 HBA Annual Conference, Washington D.C.
