Kristen Jacobson and Robann Cunningham named 2017 HBA Ohio volunteer vanguard recipient

The word vanguard means to be at the forefront of any movement, field or activity. Our volunteer vanguards are charting the course for the advancement of women in healthcare. Kristen Jacobson and Robann Cunningham are being honored for empowering and connecting healthcare leaders and organizations across the state of Ohio in 2017.

Kristen is recognized for her dedication and hard work in the HBA Ohio's programming committee and for her leadership of the Cincinnati signature event. "We had a record number of signature attendees that learned about how mentors can make a difference in their individual career," said Karen Hagerty, president, HBA Cincinnati. "Kristen's willingness to go above and beyond led to individuals and healthcare corporations becoming more engaged and benefiting from the work of our chapter."

Robann is recognized for the impact she had on driving Cincinnati membership efforts and creating awareness of HBA to both men and women.

"Robann's leadership and advocacy for others has positioned our new chapter to create even more positive impact with healthcare leaders and organizations in 2018," said Hagerty."Our membership in Cincinnati is off to a great start and we have Robann to thank for this."

Both recipients will be honored at the HBA Cincinnati volunteer recognition and networking event at Parker's Tavern in Blue Ash on 31 January from 5:30 - 8:30.
