HBA Indiana is excited to announce that our March-April volunteer of the bimonth is Tiffini Cook of Roche Diagnostics.
“Tiffini literally has coached me through the last six months of my tenure with HBA Indiana, and consistently steps up and into different roles to help out with our chapter,” according to Erin Albert, 2017 HBA Indiana president. “I’d be lost without her this year,” according to Albert.
Ms. Cook will also be stepping into the role of our regional transition team lead for the Indiana Chapter into the Midwest region—another role she was excited to take on during this year of change for our chapter.
Her award was presented to her at the19 April event with Jennifer Cook, 2016 Woman of the Year (WOTY) at Roche Diagnostics.
When asked to share her HBA experiences in the past few years and how it has helped her leadership skills, she stated, “I have learned to spend more time understanding what motivates people, particularly when leading people in volunteer roles. While my first priority is to support and drive the HBA’s mission, it’s also my responsibility as a leader to ensure the experience is rewarding for our board and volunteers”.
