HBA Greater Philadelphia honors Lynn Paolicelli with the 2016 LEAD award

Lynn Paolicelli The HBA Greater Philadelphia board of directors is pleased to announce our 2016 LEAD award winner, Lynn Paolicelli. LEAD stands for Leadership, Excellence and Dedication. This award is the highest chapter honor for an individual and is given to a volunteer selected annually by the chapter’s board of directors. Lynn is on the board of directors and is the director at large, mentoring. She will be presented this prestigious award on November 15 at Johnson & Johnson in Wayne, PA.
Having been an active HBA member and volunteer since 2002, Lynn fully embraced the opportunity to lead the mentoring program. Lynn’s leadership and personal commitment to growing the program has resulted in measurable benefits to the chapter. Lynn structured and built the first leadership team within mentoring to create leadership opportunities for others and to support the growth of the program. She added two engagement leads (one for mentors and one for mentees), a marketing lead, a programming lead and a project manager. In addition, Lynn created a group of six group connectors to work in a more formalized way with the mentoring circles to ensure that participants experience positive results.
Leading an outreach initiative, Lynn and her team exceeded their ambitious recruitment goal by 7%, registered 64% more mentees in 2016 versus the previous year, and added 19 new members to HBA Greater Philadelphia. The growth in the mentoring program, driven by Lynn and her team, has been a powerful recruitment resource for new HBA members. She has done a phenomenal job keeping the mentoring team focused on quality and member value, while continually looking for innovative ways to achieve their goals and improve the program. Many of her advances will be rolled out to other chapters in our region next year.
Lynn’s leadership, drive and passion are contagious and her contributions have positively impacted the health of the chapter. Lynn has demonstrated the leadership capabilities that make HBA Greater Philadelphia great.
Congratulations, Lynn, on being this year’s winner of the LEAD award.
