HBA Boston honors Marie-Caroline Strok with 2016 LEAD award

Marie-Caroline StrokThe HBA Boston board of directors is pleased to announce our 2016 LEAD award winner, Marie-Caroline Strok. LEAD stands for Leadership, Excellence, and Dedication. This award is the highest chapter honor for an individual and is given to a volunteer selected annually by the chapter’s board of directors.

Marie is on the board of directors and is the director at large, programming. She was unanimously nominated for this prestigious award.

Marie has been working tirelessly across all functional areas to ensure that the chapter provided the Boston membership with the highest quality programming – with interesting content, broad appeal and flawless execution – all the while deepening the support of our Corporate Partners. Her efforts led to sold-out programs and provided the chapter a solid financial outlook to address other development and growth goals for Boston. Her leadership and mentoring of many other directors, chairs and committee members has made a positive impact on the chapter both this year and for future years as we build a stronger chapter and work with new affiliates in New England.

Marie is, indeed, “a complete star…inspiring people working with her and her committee to be the best they can be… an absolute pleasure to work with.”  While she can make the work seem effortless, Marie has committed countless hours, extraordinary energy and immense skill to shape the offerings of the chapter and the value we’ve been able to deliver our members. Hearty congratulations, Marie, on being this year’s winner of the LEAD award.
