HBA Kansas City holds event on quiet confidence

HBA Kansas City held their second event sponsored by Quintiles on February 25, 2016 with tremendous success having over 100 women in attendance. This was the first official event as a new affiliate and created a lot of excitement for the launch of the new HBA Kansas City.

The event provided a great opportunity to network with other healthcare businesswomen professionals and learn valuable insights from the presentation, “Quiet Confidence, How to Step into your Power as a Woman in Healthcare.

Rachelle Babin HBAThe speaker, Rachelle Babin, executive coach and consultant, and president and founder of This Way Forward LLC, shared her professional journey, how she discovered the importance of trusting in herself and how to quiet the inner voice to communicate “I can” with confidence.

Rachelle stated the importance of understanding who “I am” (who we are without including any title or profession), understanding our signature strengths and aligning our top strengths with our top values. She recommends that we understand and challenge the committee that lives in our head – affirm our positive self-image and trust in our abilities. We will then create a heightened level of confidence by establishing our “quiet internal power".

Feedback received was overwhelming positive and appreciative of the insights and tools shared to achieve ongoing confidence.

Please look for the next HBA Kansas City event that will take place in June. We hope to see you there.
