Healthcare experts clarify healthcare reform from policy, provider and payor perspectives

Local healthcare experts will clarify healthcare reform at an informational event at OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital on September 16, 2013. The event, “Demystifying Healthcare Reform: Perspectives from Policy, Provider and Payor,” is hosted by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Ohio chapter. HBA members and the general public are invited to attend.

“It’s important for everyone to understand the impact of the Affordable Care Act on coverage, accessibility and cost of care,” said Katherine McAllister, president of the HBA Ohio chapter. “At the event, a panel of experts will help healthcare professionals understand the implications for their business and community.”

Panelists include Stephen M. Cardamone, DO, MS, chief clinical integration officer at OhioHealth; Rob Falkenberg, Ohio HealthPlan CEO, UnitedHealthcare; and Anne Sullivan, president, Madison Services Group Inc.
