Summary:

The HBA could not further our mission to further the advancement and impact of women in healthcare worldwide without our dedicated volunteers.

National volunteer week logoThe HBA could not further our mission to further the advancement and impact of women in healthcare worldwide without our dedicated volunteers. Many HBA chapters laude a Volunteer of the Month and all 15 chapters name a LEAD (Leadership Excellence and Dedication) award winner each year.

Since 1999 we have honored a volunteer at the Woman of the Year event. First titled the Star Volunteer and now simply the STAR (Strategic Transformation Achievement Recognition)   this is an honor bestowed upon a volunteer who stands apart as a truly exemplary role model for others and who has demonstrated a long-term commitment to furthering the HBA’s goals.

While we appreciate our volunteer every week, please join us this week in thanking everyone who volunteers during National Volunteer Week.
