Lelia O’Connor welcomed 147 attendees to the HBA Chicago chapter’s opening fall event. Attendees were invited to participate in an exercise of self-reflection. Enlighted leaders own the responsibility of understanding one’s impact on others. Enlightened leadership is value-centered leadership; it is a leadership style which is concerned with the betterment of society. Enlightened leaders fully understand the gains that can be achieved when one works to bring out the good in others.
A phenomenal panel consisting of 3 former HBA Women of the year and one star volunteer offered guidance to the crowd assembled.
