Mark your calendars now! History will be made in Philadelphia this fall with the engagement of distinguished life sciences and health care industry leaders at one of the most dynamic leadership events of the year. The annual HBA Leadership Conference will be held October 27-29, 2010. This year’s theme is “Leadership Impact Delivered: Innovate, Orchestrate, Perform.” The Leadership Conference Committee has developed programs for each of these topics. As we will be in Philadelphia this year anticipating a well attended conference, the team has taken the liberty to take it up another notch, add in some surprises, and create experiences that will be immersive and engaging…where our attendees can really learn and develop.

The HBA Leadership Conference is the premier professional development event for women in healthcare. This annual conference consistently delivers inspiring speakers, active learning, and rich networking opportunities. Women who have attended the Leadership Conference in the past often remark that they are able to apply things they learn during the conference immediately to their jobs and responsibilities upon their return. This year will be no exception and the LC committee is actively seeking high caliber content experts for its workshop and plenary speakers. This Request for Proposal for workshop presenters needs to be submitted by June 24, 2010.

As organizations embrace new ways of thinking in order to meet the sophisticated expectations of a global world, the HBA 2010 Leadership Conference is the prerequisite for future success.

Participants will be openly welcomed and engaged by a host of HBA volunteers who will passionately promote an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere that is professional and collegial to ensure the overall experience goes beyond expectations. Registration for the conference will open on June 1. Attendance is expected to ramp up quickly for this year’s conference, so don’t delay, register early!
