New Volunteer Leadership Opportunities in New HBA Marlborough Chapter

As we continue to extend our membership model to cover more geographic regions where we have a concentration of members, we are delighted to start the process of building out our new chapter in Marlborough. This will be the fourth chapter in the HBA New England region, which also includes Boston, Waltham and Fairfield, CT.
Volunteering for the HBA is one of the best ways to fully leverage everything the organization has to offer — it combines the opportunity to sharpen or learn new skills, lead teams through influence, and building your network while giving back. Data show that HBA members who volunteer report higher satisfaction rates with their membership overall.
Available positions include:
Marlborough Chapter President — Strong team leader with a strategic vision and willingness to shape a dynamic new chapter. Previous experience on an HBA board, preferably in a director position, is preferred. Time commitment is 8-10 hours a week.

Marlborough Chapter Vice President —  Second to the president liaises with the chapter directors, New England regional Centers of Excellence and HBA Central to ensure appropriate programming for the chapter. Time commitment is 5-8 hours a week.
Marlborough Chapter Operations Director — The chapter operations director is the central point of contact for volunteer management and all chapter administrative practices, information, etc. Time commitment is 4-10 hours a month.

Marlborough Programming Director —The chapter director at large, programming develops the chapters overall event/program strategy and oversees event implementation and program management for the chapter. Time commitment is 4-10 hours a month.

Marlborough director at large, membership and volunteer engagement — oversees all engagement activities for the chapter including engaging and retaining HBA members within the geography and recruiting, placing and tracking chapter volunteers.

Marlborough Chapter Account Manager, Corporate Relations — This individual is part of the corporate relations account manager team, but works with the Marlborough chapter to identify and liaise with corporate partners and sponsors in the Marlborough area. Time Commitment is 4-10 hours a month.
