Speaker: Lauren D’Innocenzo, associate professor of organizational behavior, Drexel LeBow College of Business
The average adult makes about 35,000 decisions a day. Of course, most of these decisions are made without much conscious thought. Some of these are relatively inconsequential and others have a much greater impact. How do we know if we are making the right decisions? How can we balance the influences of others around us in making critical choices? In this half-day interactive session, we will discuss decision-making in the context of high-performing teams. Participants will engage in an experiential case exercise where they are part of a cross-functional taskforce that uses data and resources to develop a plan to be implemented across a three-year period. In doing so, team members will need to balance competing priorities and manage scarce resources. Following the exercise, a debrief will allow for reflection of decision-making as well as presenting three actionable strategies for making better decisions.
This session is limited to 50 registrations.
