Mary Stutts is a leader and innovator with a career that reflects a track record of accomplishments in global Fortune 200 biotechnology, healthcare, technology and media corporations including Genentech, Bayer, Bristol Myers Squibb, Kaiser Permanente, UnitedHealth Group and Comcast NBCUniversal.
Currently she is the chief inclusion, diversity and health equity officer for Stanford Healthcare.
Mary is a compelling and entertaining speaker on the dynamics of women and men in leadership, personal branding, mentoring, inclusive leadership and adding value in dynamic corporations.
Mary sits on the board of the Global Women’s Funding Network – the world’s largest philanthropic network devoted to women and girls; the NBA Wives Association; Wellist; and WorldWideWomen
Her book The Missing Mentor: Women Advising Women on Power, Progress and Priorities has been dubbed a surrogate mentor for career women.
Growing up as a foster child from the age of five led Mary to create The Excellent Life Center, a 501c3 organization focusing on helping women and people of color find and use their voice.
Mary earned a master’s degree in health administration at the University of Southern California and is a graduate of the executive program on organization and strategy at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
