Hayden is a seasoned DE&I executive with experience managing a wide range of global initiatives and strategies. He has a background in developing, creating, and implementing people-oriented DE&I strategic plans that are both commercial- and results-driven.
Prior to joining Takeda, Hayden most recently was Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion at LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton). In this role, he designed and implemented LVMH’s first global DE&I strategy, built governance mechanisms and committees to drive accountability, and ensured commitment to measurable key performance indicators. Prior to LVMH, Hayden led DE&I for industry-leading companies, including PayPal, Bloomberg, BP, UBS, Nomura and Lehman Brothers—and his work has been recognized by organizations worldwide.
Hayden has lived most of his life in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Hayden is an active philanthropist and community leader. He serves as honorary trustee of The Women’s Foundation, in Hong Kong, and was a member of the Board of Governors from 2012 to 2015. As a member of the LGBTQI+ community, Hayden volunteers across the globe with various non-profits that champion equality. Hayden is also an avid swimmer, home chef and pet father to Conrad, his 11-year-old Weimaraner dog.
