Cardinal Health executive recognized by the HBA Atlanta chapter with the 2012 Woman in Healthcare Leadership award

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), Atlanta chapter is pleased to announce that Cindy Roser from Cardinal Health is the recipient of the 2012 Woman in Healthcare Leadership award. The award was given based on the criteria of not only impacting one’s organization, but the broader Atlanta healthcare industry through leadership and mentoring. Cindy was chosen among a pool of five outstanding finalists, including Deborah Cancilla from Grady Health System, Marcia Delk from Wellstar Health System, Carol Henderson with the Georgia Department of Economic Development and Terry Willey from Emory Healthcare.

The HBA St Louis chapter held its annual members-only holiday party on the evening of Tuesday December 4th.

The HBA Greater Philadelphia chapter hosted an engaging program at RPS, Inc. in Fort Washington, PA on November 15, 2012. Close to 75 attendees learned the “soft skills” of navigating corporate politics and managing personal image. Dr. Deeawn Roundtree, author of the book, “Beyond the Boardroom”, provided some straight-forward, no-nonsense guidance on how to manage your corporate image, develop relationships and allies and navigate situations in the corporate world to succeed in your career.
