The Southern California Chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA SoCal), the leading business organization for women in healthcare, today announced its 2013 board of directors. Welcome back and welcome to the 2013 year of the HBA Florida chapter. I hope you and yours had a great holiday season. It was wonderful to see so many of you at the holiday event at Moffitt, one of our favorite venues and a terrific way to celebrate the season.

This is the Women in Science HBA Metro chapter’s venue on “Personalized Medicine: Is it our future?” which was hosted at Bristol-Myers Squibb facility in Plainsboro, NJ. The event was well attended by the HBA board members including Megan Montgomery and Adrienne L. Robinson. Terry Beebe Thomas, president of HBA Metro chapter, gave the HBA opening remarks.

Health Reform: Post Election Update Panel Discussion

The HBA Chicago chapter is excited to embark on its 10^th year helping to inspire, empower and connect women to develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. The chapter has seen tremendous changes in the last ten years, and we strive to provide our members with opportunities to stay current with industry developments and further develop their professional skills. 

The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), Atlanta chapter is pleased to announce that Cindy Roser from Cardinal Health is the recipient of the 2012 Woman in Healthcare Leadership award. The award was given based on the criteria of not only impacting one’s organization, but the broader Atlanta healthcare industry through leadership and mentoring.

The HBA Atlanta chapter celebrated the inspiring accomplishments of all the mentees and mentors of this year, from various professions and organizations on November 15, 2012 at the City Club of Buckhead. Following the celebration, several mentees were approached to share further details about their overall experiences and takeaways from the program.
