We opened 2014 announcing our theme of “shifting sands; new horizons” and began the programming calendar year by exploring a foundational element for handling all types of change: Trust. Ms Susan Lang, founder and CEO of Hoopayz led a provocative discussion by first challenging all of us to accept that courageous leadership begins with the basis of trust. And while many of us may have thought that she would deal solely with the idea of learning to trust others and guiding others to trust us, she actually began right at the bedrock---“trust begins with trusting oneself”.
We are pleased to announce the 2014 HBA St. Louis chapter board of directors.
Thank you so much to our membership for supporting the board. Please send any suggestions or thoughts about improving the HBA experience to one of our board members.
We look forward to a very successful 2014.
