As pharmaceutical manufacturers shift from a business model focused on blockbusters to specialty therapeutics that reach small patient populations with a patient-centric approach, HBA Metro chapter partnered with the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) to expand their reach and awareness regarding industry trends in the rare disease space among our member base.

HBA SoCal chapter congratulates two Rising Stars

HBA Rising Stars are professionals in various sectors of the healthcare industry and are designated by HBA's Corporate Partner organizations. Each Corporate Partner organization designates one Rising Star to be recognized that represents various career stages and disciplines and meet the following criteria:

  • Is an employee of an HBA corporate partner company
  • Contributes significantly to their organization, preferably in numerous areas
  • Exemplifies leadership and is a role model for others
  • Assists those in subordinate or peer positions and is a team player

Table facilitators needed for Greater Philadelphia dine around series

Five table facilitators are needed at each of our Summer dine around events to help manage the table discussion on a pre-determined topic. One phone call will be held in advance to review a discussion guide, and the time commitment is at the event during dinner.

Please contact the leaders listed here to indicate your interest. You can choose as many sessions to facilitate as you would like; you must also register for the events separately.

Don't miss the Fit To Lead triathlon team racing at the TriRock Philadelphia Triathlon, 6/21

The HBA Greater Philadelphia chapter has pioneered this leadership development program and 20 women from our chapter have worked the past six months to develop themselves to be triathletes. They will swim, bike and run and have a ton of fun. This is a spirited way to spend a Saturday morning. Come cheer them on with the GP HBA cheer block. We are also seeking some volunteers to take some high-quality action shots and candids for the chapter.
