Each year the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association offers exclusive leadership training for more than 200 chapter board members across organization at the Leadership Institute. The HBA Leadership Institute prepares the boards of its 15 chapters in nonprofit association governance and leadership. The evening prior to this event, exceptional leaders across the HBA are showcased during an awards ceremony.

This award honors 15 exceptional volunteer leaders, each representing one of HBA’s 15 chapters. Many deserving volunteers were nominated and only one volunteer leader was then selected by a majority vote of their chapter board.
