HBA Boston Chapter Committee Volunteer Role Openings

  • Research /Database Gurus

    This is a great opportunity for people who love to formulate strategic decisions based on solid data. We are looking for candidates with experience or aptitude for research in a number of areas – marketing, new initiatives, Executive Women’s Series and our membership committee. If you have experience in designing and/or conducting surveys, tabulating data and reporting results with their associated recommendations, you are our person! Excel skills a plus.
  • Event Coordinators

    If you have experience conceptualizing, planning and executing high visibility programs, we want you! HBA Boston conducts many different programs throughout the year and we need a few self-starting, well-organized people to help identify programs of interest to the greater Boston Healthcare community and to make them happen. Working with the program directors, you may identify sites, topics, speakers and coordinate the execution – marketing, catering, locale, sponsorship, staffing – to ensure the event goes off without a hitch.

    If you want to be involved but can’t make a long-term or large time commitment, we also have a need for on call support to help with specific events.
  • Executive Women’s Series

    The Executive Women’s Forum (EWS) committee is looking for senior-level individuals (director or above) who can assist the director to raise awareness and attendance for the Executive Women’s Series programs. The Executive Women’s Series is designed specifically for senior-level women in healthcare. If you are a senior level woman with contacts and a willingness to reach out to grow this premier program, we would love your help.
  • Membership Committee

    In order to ensure that HBA members have a great experience and get value from membership, our membership committee reaches out in many ways – greeting new members, working with companies to broaden awareness, working events to answer questions and in many other ways. Call to learn more about openings.
  • Corporate Relations

    The HBA Boston sponsorship committee is looking for several individuals who can assist the corporate relations director to obtain sponsors for HBA events. The ideal candidate would be someone who works at a local area pharma/biotech organization. Please contact us if you have (or want to develop) good sales skills, strong communication skills (written and oral), willingness to outreach to key contacts and decision makers, and are open to fundraising and asking for money.
  • Mentoring Committee

    The HBA Boston mentoring program coordinates an innovative, annual mentoring group program serving 120 mentors and mentees. We would like to invite experienced people to help with logistics in all areas of committee operations.
